Dennis Schroder could make his return to the Lakers lineup on Friday night, when the defending champions host the Portland Trail Blazers.

Schroder has entered the Health and Safety protocols of the NBA and has already missed the last two games of the Lakers.

The versatile guard will remain out of action in the next two games (against the Washington Wizards and the Utah Jazz), but he could return Friday vs the Blazers.

“The only thing I can tell you is health and safety protocols, and we do have a more firm timeline that it will be a minimum of the next three games; tonight’s game and the next two. We’ll see after that,” Lakers head coach Frank Vogel said prior to the loss to the Heat, via Lakers Nation.

Schroder and the Lakers (22-9) currently are on a two-game losing streak.
