Denver Nuggets snapped a two-game losing streak, with Jamal Murray leading his team to the win with a career-high 50-point performance.

Murray was on fire all night as he made 8 out of his 10 attempts from deep shooting a scorching 21-out-of-25 from the field against the Cavs’ defense.

The Nuggets’ fellow star Nikola Jokic was thrilled by Murray’s performance, which helped the Nuggets return to the winning column.

“The only shot he missed was the half-court shot,” Jokic said. “… Today he was a flamethrower. Hot, hot.” Murray became the first player ever to score at least 50 points without attempting a free throw, according to Elias Sports Bureau.

The Nuggets will finish a four-game trip away from Denver on Monday facing the slumping Atlanta Hawks.
