The No. 1 pick from last year’s NBA Draft, Timberwolves shooting guard Anthony Edwards, threw down the DUNK OF THE YEAR on Raptors’ Yuta Watanabe and pummeled him to the ground on the way down the driving baseline.
Edwards collected 7 points (3-14 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and a blocked shot in Friday’s loss to Toronto (86-81).
The Raptors beat the Wolves, though, stealing the excitement from Edwards’ post-game reaction, “it was a nice dunk, though.”
