James Harden and Kyrie Irving showed against the Sacramento Kings that they can work things out as the Nets’ back-court duo.

After the Nets’ victory over the Kings, where Harden recorded a triple double with 29 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds, he addressed playing alongside Irving and their different roles.

“At the end of the day, we’re both playmakers, we’re both scorers,” Harden told reporters. Irving finished Monday’s prime time contest with a blistering 40 point-game.

He shot 15-of-22 from the field, while he impressively hit nine out of his eleven attempts from deep. The Nets ended up securing a 136-125 win in Sacramento.

Brooklyn improved to 17-12 winning the third game in a row and, as a result, they remained close to the Eastern Conference leading team, the Philadelphia 76ers.
