Anthony Davis has faced several minor injury issues at the start of the 2020/21 campaign, with Frank Vogel admitting the injuries slowed down the Lakers’ superstar.

However, Vogel believes his star will return to his prime form soon, as the Lakers kept winning despite Davis’ struggles at the start of this season.

It’s pretty clear Davis is not showcasing his usual standards of dominance this season. The four-time All-Defensive player is averaging 22.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game this season.

He only attempts 5.8 free throws per game shooting a career-low 70.9 from the free throw line in his first 19 games of the 2020/21 season campaign

Despite Davis’ low impact play early in the season, the Lakers are on a 16-6 record being the third best team in the stacked Western Conference.
