The two-time NBA champion Pau Gasol is working on his return to basketball and, possibly, the NBA. His recent tweet shows the 40-year-old forward/center playing basketball in the gym.
“Every day a little closer!!” Gasol tweeted that he is nearing a comeback. It remains to be seen where his next destination will be once he is fully healthy. However, at the end of 2020, Gasol said he would love to play with his younger brother Marc on the Los Angeles Lakers.
LeBron James has also previously teased that the Gasol brothers could join forces on the Lakers. Pau wore the Purple & Gold through 2008-2014. He won both of his rings during the period.
