Ja Morant is considered one of the most exciting prospects around the league playing as an All-Star in just his second year in the NBA.

Kendrick Perkins, a former NBA player and a TV analyst, talked on the Memphis Grizzlies’ point guard and called him a ‘culture builder’.

According to Perkins, Morant was his number one choice in the 2019 NBA Draft, and he should have been in consideration to be the first overall pick of that draft over Zion Williamson.

Morant is already a star in the league leading Memphis to almost a playoff appearance in his rookie season. Now, he is averaging 20.7 points and 7.7 assists per, both career bests.

The Grizzlies are on a five-game winning streak having a 7-3 record in their last 10 games, as they set to face Indiana on Tuesday.
