Iman Shumpert is one step away from his return to the NBA, as he is expected to join the Brooklyn Nets.
As Shams Charania of The Athletic reports, Shumpert is finalizing a deal with the Nets and will sign with the team in the coming hours or days.
Following the James Harden trade, the Nets have two open spots in their roster.
For his part, Shumpert, a 2016 NBA champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers, returns to Brooklyn, after spending part of last season with the Nets.
