James is dealing with a left ankle sprain and is listed as questionable by the Lakers. Meanwhile, Davis is also questionable with a right quad contusion. The big man of the defending champions didn’t play in the loss to the Detroit Pistons on Thursday.
James and Davis want to help the Lakers bounce back from their first two-game losing streak of the season, as they dropped to 14-6 in the standings.
For their part, the Celtics (10-7) want to return to the winning track after their 106-110 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
