Covid-19 has had a tremendous impact on the NBA. Among the franchises that have suffered the most are the Golden State Warriors. Billionaire co-owner Joe Lacob revealed at a SporticoLive event on Thursday that Golden State had 70% revenue losses.

The Warrios are the hardest hit by Covid-19 because they don’t have good deals with local TVs and they also have to face the expenses related to their new $1.6 billion arena.

“More than 70% of our revenue is lost when we’re in this fanless situation,” said Lacob.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver has already said, at the league level, about 40% of revenue comes from having fans at games.
