Aaron Gordon will miss Sunday’s night game against the Charlotte Hornets, the Orlando Magic announced earlier. Gordon has hip and back soreness.

The athletic forward is a crucial part of the Orlando Magic’s strong season start averaging 14.9 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

The Magic have been hit hard personnel wise, losing many frontcourt players due to injury this season. In particular, Jonathan Isaac is out for the season, while Chuma Okeke and Al-Farouq Aminu had their own injury issues.

In Sunday’s contest vs. Charlotte, expect Gary Clark Jr. to receive an extended amount of minutes to cover for the Magic’s starting forward.
