LeBron James has exceptional longevity. At the age of 36, he remains one of the top players in the league and is contending for the MVP award. At the same time, he understands he cannot go forever.
“I continue to put myself in the best condition that I can be in. I train my body, I train my mind every single day. I come in into the arena or the facility and get a lot of extra work. I prepare my body, prepare my mind,” LeBron said after the Lakers defeated the Pelicans.
“Hopefully, I can continue to do what I’m doing at 36 and see what happens. I don’t think that I can go till 46. We can go from 26 till 36. I don’t think I can go till 46 and also I don’t think my wife would like that pretty much.”
