Dennis Schroder is enjoying playing for the Los Angeles Lakers. After playing twelve games for defending NBA champions, the team’s newcomer is already talking about staying in LA long-term.

“It’s amazing,” the German point guard said on the Lakers’ chemistry per Harrison Faigen. “That’s the reason why I think I want to be here long-term, but like I said before, it’s got to be fair on both ends. If it’s fair, then, I ain’t got no problems. It’s gonna be great to be here long-term, for sure.”

This season, Schroder is averaging 14.3 points, four rebounds and 4.8 assists in 30.8 minutes per game. Coincidently, his playing time so far is exactly the same as it was last year on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Lakers are currently sitting atop the Western Conference with nine wins and three losses. Three teams, namely the Clippers, the Jazz and the Suns are tied for second place with 7-4 records.
