LeBron James once again shared his excitement for the improvement of his Lakers teammate Talen Horton-Tucker.
James called Horton-Tucker a ‘sponge’ and noted the young guard is ‘beyond his years’.
“Does it on both sides of the floor, and then he just listens. He’s a sponge. And he can apply it right away … big time game for a kid that’s still growing into his own, but he’s (beyond) his years,” James said about Horton-Tucker, via Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet.
Talen Horton-Tucker had 17 points (7/8 shooting, 2/3 from beyond the arc), five rebounds, three assists and four steals off the bench, as the Lakers defeated the Rockets (120-102).
