Three bench players scored at least 17 points for the Los Angeles Lakers in a win over the Golden State Warriors. Montrezl Harrell had 27 points, Talen Horton-Tucker had 18 and Kyle Kuzma added 17. They finished the game as three of the top four scorers for the Lakers with LeBron James (22 points) being the fourth one.

After the game James was asked about the impact of the Lakers’ bench, particularly about Harrell, Horton-Tucker and Kuzma. “What those guys gave just high energy and it resulted in some very good plays for our ball club,” the four-time NBA champion said.

“Trezz from the start was aggressive finishing at the rim, finishing and-ones, getting the second possessions. Kuz’s energy has been like this all year so we expect that from him.

And then THT just came in and was very poised. A very poised game tonight, getting 10 assists and also attacking the rim as he’s done all year, just being very efficient. So they were great tonight.”
