Brandon Ingram has started strong his 2020/21 campaign as he helped the New Orleans Pelicans secure another victory on Saturday, their fourth in the first six games of the season.

In his latest outing, Ingram was unstoppable with 31 points in Pelicans’ 116-120 win over the Toronto Raptors. After the game, Eric Bledsoe expressed his excitement seeing his teammate’s play early in the season.

“I know it’s early in the season, but all I can say is MVP,” the veteran point guard said. Ingram is certainly performing on a high-level at the start of the season.

More specifically, he averages 22.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game. He is making his shots on a 46.5% clip while making 40.0% of his threes.

He has scored over 28 points in four of the six Pelicans’ games this season leading his team to a 4-2 record at the start of the 2020/21 campaign.

The season is long, but the young forward is building a strong foundation, after winning the Most Improved Player award last season.
