DeMar DeRozan caught up with Stephen Jackson & Matt Barnes on episode #62 of the All The Smoke Podcast.

DeRozan discussed a bunch of moments from his career, including a story from his college days at the University of Southern California. The 31-year-old San Antonio Spur remembered a time during the PAC-10 Tournament when he had to accept the fact that his team only had one shot at an NCAA bid.

USC just finished up having an average regular season, as the only way they could make the NCAA Tournament was through winning their conference tourney. With DeMar ready to enter the 2009 NBA Draft that summer, he wanted the team to play as hard as possible with him in his last run as a Trojan.

I remember just telling guys, ‘F*** it! We about to go all out man! I don’t plan on coming back to school!’ To do that and get MVP of it man, it was something that I still remember to this day.”
