LeBron James opened up about what his role with the Los Angeles Lakers will be this season.

James said he will do whatever the team needs him (to do) and added he could take less playmaking responsibilities.

“If it presents for me to be the primary ballhandler and also try to lead the league in assists, I can (take that) responsibility … if our team doesn’t need that, that’s absolutely fine as well.

Every year is its own challenge, so this challenge could be different…I just want to win. That’s all it’s about for me,” James told reporters, via Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet and Ryan Ward of Lakers Daily.
