Danny Green took to social media and bid farewell to the Los Angeles Lakers, after getting traded to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Green thanked the Lakers and the city of Los Angeles for the support and love they showed him, as he is now getting ready for his debut season with the Sixers.
“Thank you to my Lakers family, the city of LA, and Lakers fans everywhere for welcoming me to your city and your team. We had one job and we made it happen.
I’ll never forget my time as part of the #Lakeshow and I have all of you to thank for it. Special shoutout to my teammates and coaching staff for an unforgettable season … On to the next chapter. #unapologetically3X,” Green wrote on Instagram.
Green is a three-time NBA champion and has won back-to-back titles (2019-2020).
