The NBA’s tentative Dec. 22 opening night doubleheader features the Brooklyn Nets vs. Golden State Warriors followed by the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Los Angeles Clippers.

The two games will be held in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, respectively.

Those four teams are also featured in Christmas Day games with the Warriors visiting the Milwaukee Bucks, the Nets visiting the Boston Celtics, the Lakers hosting the Dallas Mavericks and the Clippers visiting the Denver Nuggets.

With opening night less than three weeks away, the NBA is expected to release its 72-game season schedule soon.

The league will reportedly just release the first half of the 2020-2021 schedule for now with the second half schedule being announced in the new year.

The NBA wants to keep scheduling flexibility due to possible COVID-19 complications.
