Danny Green revealed his thoughts about the decision of the Los Angeles Lakers to trade him to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Green said he ‘was not shocked’ the Lakers traded him in exchange for Dennis Schroder.
“I wasn’t shocked. I was just seeing where I was going. I was like, OK. Obviously, everybody is getting better. And I knew even when I signed (with the Lakers), the contract that I signed for was going to be hard to maintain, was going to be hard to stabilize, especially with the pieces,” Green told Melissa Rohlin of Fox Sports.
Green, a three-time NBA champion, will play for the Philadelphia 76ers next season.
