JaVale McGee took to social media and bid farewell to the Los Angeles Lakers after getting traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
McGee thanked the franchise and GM Rob Pelinka for giving him the opportunity to play for the Lakers and win the championship.
McGee was the starting center of the Lakers and averaged 6.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.
The Lakers traded McGee to the Cavs in order to sign Marc Gasol.
