The Washington Wizards are interested in selecting Precious Achiuwa in the upcoming draft, per Jeremy Woo of Sports Illustrated.
The first target for the Wizards is expected to be Onyeka Okongwu, but he may long gone by the time Washington is on the clock at No.9.
Achiuwa would still be an intriguing consolation for the Wizards as a potential two-way force on both ends of the floor.
He averaged 15.8 points and 10.8 rebounds per game as a freshman last season, adding 1.9 blocks and 1.1 steals per game.
