As reported by the NBA insider Chad Ford, to get one of the top three positions in the Draft, the New York Knicks would be ready to part ways with Mitchell Robinson or RJ Barrett and the choice No. 8, and have a conversation with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors or Charlotte Hornets, who own the top three picks, respectively.

It must be said Leon Rose has often reiterated that Mitchell Robinson and RJ Barrett are fundamental, so it seems very difficult that the two can be placed in a trade.

However, the scenario could change. The Knicks are in possession of picks #8 and #27. Everything will depend on Leon Rose, if he believes that these choices will be enough to rebuild the Knicks or if he will have to aim for the top three.
