One of the top young players in the NBA, Devin Booker, reportedly wants to leave the Phoenix Suns. According to Ryen Russillo, it is ‘the worst kept secret’ in the league. He shared this on The Bill Simmons Podcast.

The Suns have not made it to the playoffs since 2010 — that is longer than Booker is on the team. This season, they were close to making the leap after going 8-0 in the bubble. However, that wasn’t enough.

The 23-year-old shooting guard averaged 26.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game for the Suns this season. He was arguably the brightest star in the bubble before the playoffs began, scoring 30+ points in five games, four of which he finished with 35 points.

Booker is currently in the second year of his five-year $158,253,000 contract, per Spotrac. He is set to earn $29,467,800 in 2020-2021.
