Rick Pitino is still willing to coach Greece in the Olympic Qualifiers, which are scheduled to take place in June of 2021.
The Hall of Famer coach confirmed his intention while speaking with Marc Stein of the New York Times.
Greece will take part in the Qualifying tournament of Victoria, Canada that is planned to take place on June 29 to July 4. Czech Republic, Turkey, China, Uruguay and host Canada will also participate in the tournament.
It is still unclear whether NBA superstars and coaches, like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nick Nurse, will be available for the event.
