Shane Larkin opened up about the offer he received from an NBA team during the summer.
The superstar of Anadolu Efes revealed he had a multi-year guaranteed deal in the NBA, but things did not work out the way he wanted to.
Therefore, he returned to Anadolu Efes and hopes he will win the EuroLeague title this season.
“I had a multi-year guaranteed deal in the NBA. It was good money, similar money to what I was going to be getting here in Efes, but things just didn’t work out the way that we wanted them to and now I’m back in Efes.
I’m happy to be here and I’m happy to have another opportunity to win a EuroLeague championship. It would’ve been a great opportunity, but things didn’t work out.
It’s all good and I’m back in Efes where I love to be. Back in a country where I love living. I love my life, love my situation here in Efes, love being in Istanbul.
We’re now going to make the best out of this season and try to get what we’ve been chasing for the last three years,” Larkin said in an interview with Eurohoops.net.
Larkin is getting ready for his season debut with Anadolu Efes in the game against Olympiacos on Friday (30/10).
