The Toronto Raptors are still hopeful that the team can remain in Canada during the next NBA season, according to Josh Lewenberg of TSN.

In case travel restrictions, due to COVID-19, remain intact for the next few months, the Raptors might need to set base in the USA for the time being.

In similar fashion, the Toronto Blue Jays ended up using Buffalo as their “home city” for the season in order to make things easier for them in the MLB.

Lewenberg also added that earlier reports, which suggested the Raptors considering playing in Louisville, were not accurate.

With the league planning to start the season before Christmas, the Raptors will need to evaluate the situation around the issue and find a solution for the travel restrictions.
