Ettore Messina on the difference between NBA and EuroLeague: “In the NBA, they do not break your balls like they do in Europe with the media and the social media, that is the bottom line”

Ettore Messina opened up about the differences between the NBA and the EuroLeague.

Among other things, the legendary head coach, who spent five years as an assistant coach of the San Antonio Spurs, talked about the level of pressure in the two leagues.

“In the NBA, they do not break your balls like they do in Europe with the media and the social media, that is the bottom line. In the NBA, they do not face the same pressure.

They are not even close to the level of aggressiveness. That’s the same reason they go to the games and it’s more happy environment,” Messina said during his appearance on the BLOK po BLOK podcast, via Eurohoops.net.

Messina currently is the head coach and president of basketball operations of Armani Milano.
