Former NBA coach Stan Van Gundy is meeting with New Orleans Pelicans officials today, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Van Gundy has emerged as one of four expected finalists for the franchise’s head coaching vacancy.

Van Gundy, 61, has a career coaching record of 523-384.

He went 112-73 with the Miami Heat from 2003-2005, 259-135 with the Orlando Magic from 2007-2012 and 152-176 with the Detroit Pistons from 2014-2018.

Along with Van Gundy, Jason Kidd and Tyronn Lue are also finalists for the Pelicans’ job, with Lue having a meeting set with the team for this week, according to Wojnarowski.

Stan’s brother Jeff is also a candidate for the Houston Rockets’ job, as he is scheduled to interview with the team on Oct. 14.

It’s possible that both Van Gundy brothers leave the broadcasting booth and end up back on the sidelines next season.
