LDLC ASVEL announced four new COVID-19 cases on Monday right after their latest PCR tests. Two players and two staff members tested positive for COVID-19 right before the game against Panathinaikos (13/10). ASVEL is now counting a total of 10 positive cases and it seems that coronavirus has really affected the French club. It is interesting to see which players will be available for the game against Panathinaikos and whether, or not, ASVEL will complete their roster with some players coming from the youth team.

In their announcement, the club would like to put into isolation the entire club but, according to the new Euroleague protocols, that’s not an option. If a team cannot register at least eight players for a game, then they automatically lose the game with a 20-0 score.
