Alex Caruso has an impressive postseason run with the Los Angeles Lakers providing defense and shooting in the minutes he has been used so far.
Caruso is shooting 40% from beyond the arc in the NBA Finals making his shot attempts with confidence. The Lakers’ guard admitted he is feeling as confident as ever in his shot during the Finals.
“I’m as confident as ever in my shot,” Caruso said on Monday. “For the other guys, you know, I know they’re better shooters than I am, and I know they’re not going to stop shooting. It’s just about staying with the work, preparing before the shot, and being ready to shoot in the game.”
Frank Vogel’s team is making a 35 percent of its three-point attempts shooting 49 percent from the field during the 2020 postseason, while Caruso averaged just 27 percent from three until the start of the Finals.
The Lakers and the Heat will tip off Tuesday for Game 4 of the NBA Finals series.
