Montrezl Harrell is expected to attract multiple suitors in free agency despite his disappointing playoff run with the Los Angeles Clippers this year.
Per The Athletic’s Sham’s Charania, Harrell will be “sought after” when the free-agent market opens. The forward won the 2019/20 Sixth Man of the Year award following averages of 18.1 points and 7.6 rebounds in the regular season.
Charania wrote:
“Rival teams expect the Clippers to work the trade market for a playmaker in the backcourt, and internally the franchise has the free agency of Montrezl Harrell and potential free agency of Green (player option) to work through. Harrell and the Clippers have mutual interest to find a deal, but Harrell is expected to be a sought after in the market place and have multiple suitors.”
