The Los Angeles Lakers rocked the Mamba jerseys in Game 2 versus the Denver Nuggets for the Western Conference Finals.
Frank Vogel called Anthony Davis’ winning shot at the buzzer a “Mamba shot” in the Lakers’ locker room. The Lakers went up 2-0 in the series with Davis taking over in the second half.
“That’s a shot Kobe Bryant would hit. With AD flying to the wing like that, game on the line, nothing but net. It’s a ‘Mamba shot,'” Vogel said in the post-game media availability.
The Lakers and the Nuggets will meet again on Tuesday for Game 3 of the WCF series.
