Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo joined ESPN’s The Jump and spoke on his winning block against Jayson Tatum in Game 1 of the Heat-Celtics series.

“Well two of my fingers actually went numb,” he said on one of the best defensive plays in the history of the NBA’s postseason. “It was just like a big clap, and two of my fingers went numb.”

Adebayo’s stop on Tatum sealed the game for the Miami Heat, who went on to win Game 2 on Thursday to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Adebayo was also crucial on Thursday’s matchup, being the main reason the Heat got back from a 17-point deficit in the third quarter to win the game.
