Michael Malone received his birthday present from Nikola Jokic, according to the All-Star center. Jokic was asked after the game about the present he will give to his head coach.
The Nuggets’ superstar said he talked with Malone for the matter prior to the Game 7 against the LA Clippers.
“I am going to get you home or I am going to get you a Western Conference Finals,” Jokic jokingly said in the media room.
The Nuggets will get some rest until Friday, where the WC Finals series against the Lakers kick in. Until then, the Nuggets will have the time to celebrate and regroup after their incredible accomplishment against the Clippers.
