Kawhi Leonard reacted to the loss of the Los Angeles Clippers to the Denver Nuggets in Game 7 (104-89).

The superstar of the Clippers was disappointed by the outcome, but said the teams need to recover and get better.

“We just couldn’t make shots. I feel like we got some good looks… We gotta know what exact spots we need to be in. Just gotta carry over and get smarter as a team. Gotta get smarter. Basketball IQ’s gotta get better,” Leonard told reporters, via Tomer Azarly of Clutchpoints.

Leonard finished Game 7 with 14 points (6/22 shooting, 2/7 from beyond the arc), six rebounds and six assists.

Denver will go on to face the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals. Game 1 is on Friday.
