Bam Adebayo was praised by Erik Spoelstra for his big-time defensive play in Miami’s OT win over the Boston Celtics. The Heat’s head coach claimed Adebayo’s play was a big-time save.

“Those are habits and instincts where he’s willing to put himself out there. That could be a poster dunk,” Spoelstra said, per Mark Medina of USA Today. Instead, Adebayo made what Spoelstra called ‘a big-time save’.

Before Adebayo’s incredible block on Jayson Tatum, the Heat needed Butler to prove he is a big-time player in the playoffs making important plays on the offensive end in the fourth quarter and overtime.
