Head coach Doc Rivers says the team’s potential Conference Finals bid is not the LA Clippers goal according to Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints. The Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets easily in Game 4 and now Game 5 appears to be the final game of the series.
The Clippers have seemed to find their stride now after winning two straight. The next win would further the Clippers goal to finally go to an NBA Finals.
Doc Rivers says this team has bigger goals in mind:
“Nothing. That’s not our goal, so I don’t think anyone cares. It was a zero reaction. We haven’t done anything yet.”
A title during these playoffs would be the first one for the franchise. This series has been impressive on the Clippers part and now the Conference Finals are one game away.
