Giannis Antetokounmpo made it clear he has no intention to request a trade from the Milwaukee Bucks this offseason.

Even though they have finished the past two seasons with the best record in the NBA, the Bucks have failed to reach the NBA Finals and fight for the title.

“It’s not happening. That’s not happening. Some see a wall and go in [another direction]. I plow through it. We just have to get better as a team, individually and get right back at it next season.

If winning a championship was easy, everyone would have one. We lost. Everyone saw that we lost. It’s disappointing, but what are we going to do? We’re going to keep working. I’ve got confidence in my teammates,” Antetokounmpo told Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.

Antetokounmpo is eligible for a supermax contract extension this offseason. If he does not sign it, he will become an unrestricted free agent in 2021.
