The Milwaukee Bucks have no intention to trade Giannis Antetokounmpo if he does not sign supermax extension, per Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

As Bontemps reports, if Antetokounmpo does not sign the supermax contract this offseason, the Bucks will then do their best to convince the “Greek Freak to stay with a new contract.

“If Antetokounmpo passes on signing the supermax, multiple sources are adamant that the Bucks won’t trade him. Milwaukee will have to persuade him to stay — and quickly,” Bontemps reports.

Antetokounmpo is eligible to a supermax extension this offseason. If he does not sign it, then he will become an unrestricted free agent in the 2021 offseason.

Milwaukee finished the last two seasons with the best record in the NBA, yet they have failed to reached the Finals.
