Giannis Antetokounmpo was extremely sad after finding out that actor Chadwick Boseman died on Friday.

Boseman, 43, who memorably portrayed T’Challa in “Black Panther”, died after a four-year battle with colon cancer.

“Praying for his family. May God rest his soul. … Tough. Tough. The year of 2020 has been up-and-down…for everybody. He left so much behind. Great actor, great human being. I had a chance to meet him. We’re definitely going to miss him,” Antetokounmpo said, per Ben Golliver of the Washington Post.

The late actor was close to the NBA community and multiple players expressed their condolences after his shocking death.

The Bucks and the Magic held a moment of silence for Boseman before the tip-off of Game 5.
