Brett Brown released a statement and reacted to getting fired by the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
Brown was not disappointed by the front office’s decision and thanked his players and the organization.
Brown parted ways with the team, after another season ended in disappointment, as the Sixers got swept by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.
The experienced coach led the team to the second round of the playoffs two times.
Brown took over in 2013 and leaves Philadelphia with a 221-344 record in the regular season.
