German League champions FC Bayern Munich has signed one of the most talked-about young players on the continent, tall guard Vasilije Micic, to a two-year contract that lets him make his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut next season. Bayern keeps an option to extend the deal until the end of the 2016-17 season. Micic (1.92 meters, 20 years old) arrives from Mega Vizura of Serbia, for whom he has played most of the last four seasons. In his Adriatic League debut last season Micic averaged 12-1 points, 5.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 steals in 31.3 minutes over 26 games. He ranked second in average steals and third in average assists in the competition. Micic also made his debut last summer for Serbia at EuroBasket, playing 14 minutes to average 4.4 points and 1.3 assists in 11 games. He was also an all-tournament team selection when Serbia won the silver medal at the U19 World Championships last summer.
