Charles Barkley made an interesting statement regarding the legacy of the Los Angeles Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard.

The NBA Hall of Famer and current TNT analyst believes Leonard will be right behind LeBron James if he wins the title and the Finals MVP this season.

“If Kawhi is able to win his third MVP in the finals, he might be right behind LeBron,” Barkley said, via Mike Greenberg of ESPN.

Leonard is a two-time NBA champion and Finals MVP (2014, 2019), while James has won the championship and Finals MVP three times (2012, 2013, 2016).

Leonard and the Clippers are facing the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs. Meanwhile, James and the Los Angeles Lakers are clashing with the Portland Trail Blazers.
