It seems that the problems COVID-19 is causing are getting more and more. Anadolu Efes informed the Euroleague that they are unable to participate in the preseason tournament in Kaunas, Lithuania this September.
Due to the pandemic, many airline companies have canceled the flights from Turkey and from other destinations to Turkey. For that reason, some members of Anadolu Efes are unable to create a Visa to Lithuania and so they decided not to participate in the tournament.
ALBA Berlin will be the team replacing Anadolu Efes with the German club participating in Euroleague’s preseason tournament, where Panathinaikos, Zalgiris Kaunas and Armani Milan are participating as well.
