Patrick Beverley will miss his second consecutive game due to a calf injury, as Doc Rivers said, according to multiple reports. The veteran guard missed the Los Angeles Clippers’ Game 2 as well, because of the same issue.
Known for his tenacious defense, Beverley was expected to be one of the Clippers’ primary defenders against Luka Doncic, who has scored a combined 70 points in his first two playoff games.
Now, he is not going to be available in Game 3 with the Mavs and the Clippers being tied in 1 game apiece in the series.
