NBA Lineup Notes: Warriors, Clippers, Lakers, Grizzlies, Heat, Timberwolves, Thunder, Raptors, Jazz, Spurs
Nick Nurse on Scottie Barnes: “I said that his biggest challenge going into the year was to have the enthusiasm that he had last year. Every game he was a kid in a candy store. Now, you got some attention.”
Erik Spoelstra: “You get veteran players after a certain period of time, sometimes they wanna rest. Jimmy’s not wired like that. He comes alive against the best challenges in the league.”
Billy Donovan on why playing through feelings doesn’t work in the NBA: “You can’t play off feelings because feelings come and go. You gotta eliminate feelings, and choose to do things.”
