Ja Morant and Jonas Valanciunas led the Memphis Grizzlies to the play-in tournament, after the win against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Both players finished the game with triple-doubles. Morant had 12 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, while Valanciunas finished the game with 26 points, 19 rebounds and 12 assists for his first career triple-double. Also, Grizzlies’ forward Dillon Brooks scored a game-high 31 points

The Grizzlies (34-39) are tied for eighth place in the Western Conference with Portland and Phoenix. Phoenix beat Dallas, but Memphis owns the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Suns.

If Portland dropped to 9th seed with a loss to Brooklyn on Thursday, the Grizzlies will enter play-in tournament as the 8th seed.

The play-in round matches the No. 8 team against the No. 9 team. The No. 9 team must beat the No. 8 team two straight times to advance to face the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers in the first round.
