Leo Westermann will make his return to action this season in his home country after signing a one-year deal with Limoges CSP. He will play there on loan this season after agreeing to a multi-year deal with FC Barcelona earlier in the summer. Westermann (1.96 meters, 22 years old) was widely seen as one of the best young point guards in the game before a knee injury in November sidelined him for the remainder of the 2013-14 season. Until that point, he had averaged 7 points and 2.2 assists in five Turkish Airlines Euroleague contests for Partizan NIS Belgrade. He also produced 8.7 points and 2.9 assists in the Adriatic League.

Westermann was a product of the French national development system and signed his first professional contract with Asvel Lyon Villeurbanne at age 18. He spent two seasons with the club before moving to Partizan, which he helped win the 2013 Serbian and Adriatic League titles. Westermann starred for France at the junior international level, racking up a silver medal at the European Under-18 Championships in 2009, a bronze at the U-20 Championships in 2011 and silver at the 2012 U-20 Championships, after which he was named tournament MVP.
